This was my loving, courageous and protective Foxy.  She lived to be 15 1/2 years old.  She went downhill quickly after Winnie died.  I had my first experience with doggy dementia with Foxy.  She also had developed a skin infection, and had to be bathed every 2 days and was on steroids and antibiotics.  A co-worker told me to put a pinch of tumeric (I bought the non-irridated) in her food.  Her skin cleared up dramatically!

And this was the start of my journey to natural.  I had also been spraying her bed liberally with a common fabric refreshener.  I ceased spraying immediately after I learned more and more.  I now use a natural linen spray, of course.

This was my beautiful loving Winnie.  She lived to be 15 years old.  A gentle soul with a love for food and belly rubs.  In the end, she had developed a heart condition and had to limit her exercise so I bought her a baby stroller.  When I put her in she looked at me and I could hear her cursing "....and you've been making me WALK for FIFTEEN YEARS!!"...

Pi had different plans for my life.  I was to be dog free for a while, become more sociable with the 2 legged type of friends.  Pi came to me 2 days before Foxy passed.  She is the dog that will bring the world together.  Creatures of all types.  Discovering she was a highly social dog, I was concerned she needed more four-legged friends.  So we went on a quest.  That was easy.... we now have met almost every dog in the Park and their respective owners.  Life is good....
